Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actor and singer, is best known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah has an Anglo-Indian background. She was the daughter of an Madras High Court attorney. Her younger sister is a research assistant from Belgium and lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was brought up in Chennai. He went to National Public School. After graduation, he studied at Women's Christian College. The woman has claimed that she was quite a enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea learned classical piano when she was eight. At age 10 she was in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. She was a performer at her college in various performances organized through The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea served as president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's theatre career began with Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in a new Leo commercial for coffee together with the actor Shiva in 2006. She also acted in the serial that was broadcast on Podhigai channel. She has performed throughout India. There was a brief appearance on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). After she rendered a song on Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya he asked her to play as one of the lead female character in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani in this film, which is a remake of the novel by James Siegel. The husband of the character is involved in a relationship with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani after Simran Shobana Tabu and others were offered the role. It was first released in the early part of 2010. In 2011 she agreed to play a minor supporting role in Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha that was released in August of 2011. In 2013 she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's romantic movie Annayum Rasoolum.
